Compost Bin Buddy is a volunteer project started by Russell Taylor to connect people who want to divert their compostable household waste from the landfill to people who have access to a composting program.

Your email address, name, and home address and other information gathered will be used solely for the purpose of matching you to another participant and ensuing communications. Only Compost Bin Buddy volunteers and coordinators will have access to your information. You may, at any time, ask to have your information removed from the project.

A great way to help would be to become a Zero Waste Block Leader (ZWBL) yourself and help others in your community to get Austin to its goal of being a zero waste city by 2040! ZWBLs can also launch their own projects working toward a zero waste future, and collaborate with other ZWBLs on their projects, such as this one.
